What is FieldPicker?

FieldPicker is a sports facility booking platform that connects coaches and teams with available sports facilities. You can search for facilities, view availability, book time slots, and manage your reservations all in one place.

How do I create an account?

You can create an account by clicking "Sign Up" on the homepage. You can register using your email address or sign in with Google for faster access. Once registered, you can start browsing and booking facilities immediately.

Is FieldPicker available in my area?

FieldPicker is currently available in select cities across the United States. We are continuously expanding our network of facilities. Use the search feature to see available facilities near you.

What types of facilities can I book?

You can book a variety of sports facilities including basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, volleyball courts, indoor training facilities, and more. The availability depends on your location.

Bookings

How do I book a facility?

To book a facility: 1) Search for facilities by location, sport, or facility name. 2) Select your preferred facility. 3) Choose an available date and time slot. 4) Complete the checkout process with payment. 5) You will receive a confirmation email with booking details.

Can I cancel or modify my booking?

Cancellation and modification policies vary by facility. Generally, you can cancel up to 24-48 hours before your booking time for a full refund. Check the specific facility's cancellation policy before booking. To cancel, go to your bookings page and click 'Cancel Booking'.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Will I receive a confirmation after booking?

Yes! You will receive an email confirmation immediately after completing your booking. The email includes your booking details, facility address, special instructions, and a receipt. You can also view your bookings in your dashboard.

What if the facility does not meet my expectations?

If you encounter any issues with a facility, please contact us through the contact form or message the facility directly through the booking messages feature. We work with facility owners to ensure a quality experience for all users.

Billing

How does pricing work?

Facility pricing is set by each facility owner and is typically based on hourly rates. The total price you see includes the facility rental fee plus a small service fee. Some facilities may have different rates for peak vs off-peak hours.

What is the service fee?

A small service fee is added to each booking to cover payment processing and platform maintenance. The fee is displayed clearly before you complete your booking. Pro subscribers (coaches) enjoy a reduced service fee.

How do refunds work?

Refunds are processed according to each facility's cancellation policy. If eligible for a refund, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Processing time may vary depending on your bank.

Can I get an invoice for my booking?

Yes! A PDF receipt is automatically attached to your booking confirmation email. You can also download receipts from your booking details page in the dashboard.

Technical

Which browsers are supported?

FieldPicker works best on modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser updated to the latest version for the best experience.

Is there a mobile app?

FieldPicker is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can add it to your home screen on iOS or Android for an app-like experience. Simply visit fieldpicker.com in your mobile browser and select "Add to Home Screen" from your browser menu.

How do I enable notifications?

You can enable push notifications in your browser settings or when prompted by the app. Go to Settings > Notifications to manage your notification preferences. Notifications keep you informed about booking confirmations, reminders, and messages.

I am having trouble logging in. What should I do?

If you are having trouble logging in: 1) Make sure you are using the correct email address. 2) Try resetting your password using the 'Forgot Password' link. 3) If you signed up with Google, use the 'Continue with Google' button. 4) Clear your browser cache and cookies. 5) If issues persist, contact support.

Can I turn off help tooltips?

Yes! Go to Settings and toggle 'Show Help Tooltips' off under the Display Preferences section. You can turn them back on any time by returning to Settings.
